Snakes Are On The Move
I received a precipitation report from the Knees area this morning (Thursday) & the total precip for the month of August totaled 2.57 inches. SNAKES are on the move in the area, heading for the dens & the birds are bunching up, ready to move south. Could this be the sign of an early fall? Only time will tell. There was a trace of precipitation on August 2nd, the 15th, the 17th, & the 20th. .01 came in on the 4th & the 13th. August 9th recorded .02. The last 2 days of the month, the 20th & 31st, both recorded .03. August 22nd showed .05 & .06 came in on the 21st of the month. .10 was the reading for August 18th while the 16th had .17. Knees regulars saw .53 on the 23rd & the MOST precip was on Sunday, August 24th...a whopping 1.45. All this data in my Puffman Blog was recorded at the crack of dawn...6 in the morning.
