Because of last night's rains, the Conrad Invitational softball tournament has effectively been washed out. I'm told the Stillwater team made it just a few miles out of Columbus before they turned back. Glasgow did make it here, though, and because our local teams need to get conference games played with the Scotties, Shelby has agreed to host games today on their relatively dry field.

Shelby will play Glasgow at noon today, Cut Bank will take on the Scotties after that game (scheduled around 2:00 but could start earlier), and Conrad will get their shot at Glasgow at 4:00 (or sooner). I'm told that with worsening weather tomorrow, that will be the only softball played this weekend. Good luck, girls, and bundle up!
