Our final KSEN/K96 -- Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week are two seniors that have had an amazing two years in Track & Field.

Our Male Athlete of the Week is Sr. Emmette Dusty Bull of Browning.  At last weekend's State Class A meet in Laurel, Emmette picked up Browning's only 12 team points with a 2nd place finish in the 800 and a 4th in the 1600m.

Dusty Bull was the defending State Champion in the 800 but still ran a great race as he was beat out by Jonathan Eastwood of Belgrade who set a new Class A State record in a time of 1:53.  And in the mile run, Emmette improved on his 5th place finish from a year ago, moving up to 4th and cutting 5-seconds off his State time in 2014.

Our female Athlete of the Week has been the 1B District's dominant pole vaulter for the past two years.  Sr. Madison Dodson of Cut Bank became an All-State performer for the second year in a row.   Even though her place was lower than last year's 2nd place finish, she still recorded a personal best with a 9-3" jump at the 1B District Championships. At the State meet, there was a more competitive field with all 5 who finished ahead of Dodson going just one height better at 9-6."

In addition to the pole vault, Madison was consistently in the top 5 in the 100m dash during the season.  She finished 3rd in that event at the 1B District meet earlier this spring.

Congratulations to our final KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week, Sr. Madison Dodson of Cut Bank and Sr. Emmette Dusty Bull of Browning.  The Athlete of the Week is sponsored locally by McDonalds' of Cut Bank.   McDonalds rewards our athlete's with two free Value Meals.
