Bluegrass On The Bay returns for the 10th year in a row this Saturday night down in Great Falls and the infamous Suzy Bogguss is headlining the affair. It's a blast every year and besides Suzy, special guest performers include Sierra Hull and the Farewell Drifters. "Sierra Hull" sounds like a good name for a micro brew and/or a hip wine! Bluegrass On The Bay will once again be held at Odd Fellows Park in the Electric City with gates blasting open at 5. Some advance tickets are still available today (Friday) at the Mansfield Box Office, Mansfield Convention Center (for us old guys, we still call it the Civic Center!). You can also visit ticketing.greatfallsmt.net. This is the 10th annual benefit for the History Museum in Great Falls and museum members can get their tickets for only $20 at the History Museum, 422 2nd Street South in Great Falls. It should be a grand Saturday evening in a really neat atmosphere with food and beverages available from vendors at the concert site. You're encouraged to bring your OWN folding chairs or blankets for this outdoor event. (No pets or coolers and NO pets in coolers!). For more information on this blue grass boogie, call 452 3462. Thanks also to one of the BEST ambassadors for Great Falls, Norma Ashby, for visiting the Puffman Program last Friday afternoon to alert our listeners in North Central Montana about this Bluegrass Fest. See you Saturday night in Great Falls at Odd Fellows Park for Suzy Bogguss and her special guests, Sierra Hull (I'll have another glass please) and the Farewell Drifters. Gates open at 5. By the way, her last name..the "O" is short, like in dOg, Not long like in bOne. A word for the wise from the Puffman.
