Spring IS here and what better way to celebrate this time of renewal than a spring concert this Sunday afternoon. The Pondera Arts Council is presenting "A Spring Choral Concert" featuring Angels (the Conrad Community Choir) along with Rocky Shoals (the Men's Choir from Missoula). Rocky Shoals is directed by Dan Comstock, the man with the mile wide grin and a personality to match. I had the pleasure Wednesday afternoon of talking with Kit Finlayson, Diane Hould, and Tammy Stanley. They stopped by the Puffman Show and we had to opportunity to hear about Sunday afternoon's presentation at the beautiful Orpheum Theatre in Conrad. Besides Diane and Kit, there will be some familiar names and faces gracing us with their talent this Sunday including Dede Brown and Carrie Combs, both sopranos from Conrad, Shannon Garman an alto from Conrad, and Chary Majerus a flutist from Conrad. Last time we enjoyed Diane Hould, a soprano from Shelby, was at the Lutheran Church in Shelby during the Christmas holidays. Curtain time is at three Sunday at the Orpheum with dependable George working the lights. One of our favorites, Helen Elliot, will even be directing several of the arrangements! Thanks again to Kit, Diane, and Tammy for stopping by and we hope to see you this Sunday afternoon for a Spring Choral Concert. What better way to spend part of a Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students, and children five and under will be admitted FREE. Thanks also to the Pondera Arts Council for continuing to bring all of us in north central Montana this caliber of entertainment and enjoyment.
