State Fair Announces 2015 Country Concerts

Two 2015 ACM Award Winners and a Nominee Sign to Headline State Fair Concerts

Three of Country's hottest young stars have been announced as performers for the 2015 Montana State Fair night shows.

Monday, July 27th, LEE BRICE, 2015 ACM Single Record of the Year Winner, “I Don’t Dance” will take the stage. Lee Brice is a craftsman, the kind whose boundless desire to hone his skills and relentless pursuit of perfection are matched only by his humility about the entire process. His new album, I Don't Dance, is a showcase for his painstaking approach to writing and recording, with his distinctive fingerprints clearly emblazoned on every element of the album.  Brice is  known as reliable chart topping Nashville hit-maker whose 2014 performance on the Academy of Country Music telecast —where he picked up the trophy for “Song of the Year”— "stole the show" (USA Today).

Wednesday, July 29th, Dierks Bentley, 2015 ACM Video of the Year Winner, “Drunk On A Plane”, will perform. Seven albums into one of country music’s most-respected and most-unpredictable careers, award-winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley continues to grow. His latest evolution comes in the form of RISER, his most personal album to date. Written and recorded in the year following his father’s death, the album draws its title from “I’m A Riser,” a song about resilience and determination. “I’m A Riser” works as a commentary on spiritual, personal and societal recommitment, but it also applies to the competitive battlefield of the music industry. It’s particularly appropriate for an album about rejuvenation delivered by Bentley.

Thursday, July 30th, Thomas Rhett, 2015 ACM New Artist of the Year Nominee will complete the 2015 Montana State Fair line-up. Thomas Rhett was also the 2014 CMA New Artist of the Year nominee. As both a performer and a songwriter it is fully evident of the diverse, yet cohesive, collection of songs that make up his chart-topping debut album. From his second #1 Hit Single “Get Me Some of That,” to the Top-15 singles “Beer With Jesus” and “Something To Do With My Hands,” and current hit single “Make Me Wanna”, the Georgia native showcases the breadth of musical influences that seamlessly work together to make up his unique sound. “The coolest thing about this record is it’s kind of like a timeline of my life from 2011 to 2013. There are almost three different versions of myself on the same record, so there’s a little bit for everybody,” Rhett says.
