Steven Tyler has often shown a willingness to work with other musicians, from Aerosmith‘s groundbreaking remake of ‘Walk This Way’ with Run-D.M.C. to ‘Can’t Stop Lovin’ You,’ last year’s duet with country star Carrie Underwood. Now, it’s been revealed that he has recorded a song with Psy for the Korean pop star’s upcoming album.

Yes, that’s the same Psy whose hit ‘Gangnam Style’ launched a worldwide dance craze and racked up nearly 1.8 billion views on YouTube this year. In a cover story for Italy’s L’Uomo Vogue, Psy broke the news.

“So for the first time ever, I will reveal some huge piece of information,” he said. “Because I really appreciate being on the cover, so this is like ‘thank you.’ And the big secret is … When I was in middle school, I literally cried when Aerosmith were singing ‘Crazy’ or ‘Amazing’ or whatever. They were my lifetime role models, and now I am collaborating with Steven Tyler. What the f—, man? I love my life.”

According to Psy’s Twitter feed, the two crossed paths in Singapore back in May, where they performed within a few days of each other. On May 23, Psy tweeted a backstage photo of them at his concert. Two days later, he tweeted an Aerosmith set list upon which Tyler wrote, “Psy, O yeah, honor & pleasure to meet you. Love, Steven Tyler.”

So far, there’s no further news regarding the song they recorded.
