Suicide Note Says Gives No Indication of Fate of Girlfriend

BUTTE, Mont. (AP) — Law enforcement officers in southwestern Montana say a suicide note left by an Anaconda man gives no indication of the fate of his girlfriend, who has been missing for more than a week. Authorities found the body of John Goldberg, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Missoula County deputies tell the Montana Standard the four-page letter left by Goldberg mentions Tammy Salle, but says nothing about her fate.
