Well, we started our sports season with a few bumps last weekend, but we're hitting our stride this week! We'll get started tonight with the Fort Lewis at Montana State game on KSEN AM 1150 - tune in for that one at 6 o'clock. Meanwhile, on KZIN FM 96...

Florence-Carlton downed Townsend in a noon match at the State Class B tournament today, sending Townsend into the loser-out side of the bracket to meet Choteau Friday morning at ten. Fairfield will take on Thompson Falls at 4 - the winner will meet Huntley Project tonight at 8, the loser will battle Plentywood at Noon Friday for the right to continue in the tournament...

In case you missed the game this morning - the Bulldogs of Choteau opened their State Tournament play against a very talented Red Lodge Team. Unfortunately, Choteau fell in a four game match (25/23;25/16;21/25;25/19). They will take on the loser of the Florence/Carlton -v- Broadwater (Townsend) game at 10 tomorrow morning...

District Volleyball is in full swing around the area. The 6C East tournament wrapped up yesterday with North Star coming out at the champions. Wow - there was a LOT of volleyball played in Choteau  yesterday. We were there for all the action! It was a mixed bag for the 1B teams, they won some, they lost some, but they seemed to be having a great time doing it. Round 1 got underway about 9am on Friday morning with three courts of action, the matches consist of two games to 21, capped at 21 (no need to win by 2) and have a time limit of 45
