VH-1 Classic has announced that the tenth season of ‘That Metal Show’, hosted by Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, will premiere on March 31. The channel also disclosed the first bunch of musicians who will appear on the program, which will feature names that are familiar to all metalheads.

Of the first guests, Trunk is probably most thrilled to bring Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith on to the show.  “I’ve known the Maiden guys for a long time and been a fan since day one,” Trunk said. “Because they are such a global band it’s been hard to track them down, but thrilled we were able to catch up with Adrian. It will be cool because we don’t hear from him often, he’s a great guy, has a huge history with the band, and has a new side project to discuss.”

In addition to Smith, former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted will also make his TMS debut. Returning guests will include Alice Cooper, Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, and Metallica’s Lars Ulrich.
