The Beatles’ ‘Here Comes The Sun’ Covered by Gary Barlow in New Commercial

Mark & Spencer, one of the UK’s leading retailers, are using a newly recorded cover version of the Beatles‘ ‘Here Comes The Sun’ in a television ad campaign titled ‘The Summer To Remember.’  The version used is by an artist named Gary Barlow. Barlow is a member of the UK vocal group Take That as well as one of the judges on the British edition of the ‘X Factor’ TV show.

The ad for the clothing company features your typical summertime, lazy day, good times kind of scenario while the faithful cover version of the George Harrison classic plays in the background. The track is, as of now, exclusive to the ad. The commercial itself also features singer Dannii Minogue (also a judge on both ‘X Factor’ and ‘Australia’s Got Talent’) and 60′s icon/model Twiggy!
