That's how sports blogger Jeff Eisenberg describes this odd-but-entertaining tradition at John Brown University.
       Looking at the photo, you'd assume JBU had just won a conference championship, right?         
Wrong.
       Apparently no one remembers just how this tradition began, but it goes back at least 30 years. JBU fans "smuggle" - my guess is gate security is pretty lax- rolls of toilet paper into the first home game of the season, and when the Golden Eagles score their first point of the season, they let it fly.
      Yes, the game has to stop while the mess is cleaned up. Yes, the team is always charged with a technical foul. No, nobody minds a bit. It's tradition.
