If you're a music buff (rhymes with my last name) like me, you're probably more than ready for the Grammy Awards this Sunday night. I'm as excited as a schoolboy with an extra candy bar in his lunch box!  My hero and the writer/performer of the best rock and roll song ever (according to myself and Rolling Stone magazine), 69 year old Bob Dylan, has been added to this year's star studded lineup. This will be the 5th Grammy appearance for the Hibbing, Minnesota native.

In other Grammy news, Dr. Dre has also been added to the lineup but I'm not exactly sure what kind of physician this Dre character is. A MD, an osteopath, a chiropractor? I guess we'll find out Sunday night. Bottom line, there will be "a doctor in the house" Sunday night. I'm no fan of some of these "newer/today's musicians, especially Lady Gaga. She makes me gag-gag! Dylan should even out the score and prove once again that there is nothing like talent and experience. Lady Gaga belongs with the jugglers and the clowns.

My only concern as I conclude my blog for this weekend: what about Desperate Housewives!? If I watch Dylan, I'll probably miss the "housewives". Some of the boys downtown told me about a new fangled device that lets you record television shows on some sort of box. With this device, one is able to watch those programs at a later time. Don't think I'm not going to look into this. I'll get back to you on Monday and let you know what I find out. I'm always trying to stay ahead of the curve.
