It's amazing, is it not! The last day of August and the weather has taken a turn for fall. Cooler temperatures and all that and you can almost smell the change in the air. That said, there's still some summer activities/events/fun things to do as September comes rolling in. Up in the North Country tomorrow (Thursday), there's the familiar Farmers Market in Sunburst. Spark Park is where it happens every Thursday during the summer months and tomorrow is no exception. It kicks off at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning and runs until 10:30AM. Here in Shelby, our Shelby Food and Craft Market will be held at City Hall Park from 4 until 6 in the afternoon. Hopefully most of us have had an opportunity or two to take participate in both markets this summer but I suggest we try to make an appearance tomorrow as the time is fast approaching for the final markets in both Sunburst and Shelby. It's a neat way to get some healthy bargains and chew the fat with our neighbors and friends. The Farmers and Food and Craft Markets are another really neat thing about living and enjoying life here in the Golden Triangle. As the song says (and we play it here on KSEN), "See You in September"...
