Since Christina Aguilera's incident at the Super Bowl, a number of singers have said in interviews that the one song they fear singing most is our National Anthem. Not because it's hard to perform (which it is), but because the fear of forgetting the words leads to memory paralysis, and you forget the words! So rather than putting the pressure on one person to sing in front of a crowd, why not have the crowd sing the National Anthem? That's what they did at Portland's first ever Major League Soccer game this last weekend. Okay, the singing's not great, but American pride was there, and the crowd got its new team fired up for its first win!

By the way, shouldn't we all be proud to sing our National Anthem?
