This is news?!

What is our world coming to. We received a "RED" Associated Press News Alert earlier today that barked "Demi Moore friend who called 911 describes actress as barely conscious and convulsing". And this WASN'T after she had watched one of Ashton Kutcher's movies and/or television shows. This AP News Alert comes on the heels of a story out of Los Angeles saying "the actress is seeking professional help to treat her exhaustion and improve her health". This usually means, in layman's terms, that the actress or actor has taken too many "happy pills" or has been busted or will soon be busted for some kind of mood altering substance. Sometimes it's just plain old John Barleycorn. My problem: how is any of this news?! We have a couple of wars going on, we have a presidential election less 10 months away, we are accumulating debt by the micro second, half the world is mad at us while the other half wants to either borrow money or use our troops. The 911 call from Demi Moore's home earlier this week has now been released to the media and I note that it is already being played on ABC news. Just when I thought we were done suffering through the Lindsay Lohan, saga...we get this. I don't know what Ms Moore's problem and/or problems are, but I can assume she is not in her right mind. How else would you explain her marrying Ashton Kutcher! Hopefully something else will come along about as interesting and blow this off the front page. We can only hope. In the meantime, this will give both of them something else to tweet about...
