Thursday Is THE END

The Shelby Lenten Lunches come to an END tomorrow afternoon, Thursday. There were only 3 lunches scheduled this year. The 1st Lenten Lunch was served at the Methodist Church & last week’s Lenten gathering was at St. William Catholic Church. Tomorrow’s Lenten Lunch will be held at the 1st Baptist Church here in Shelby beginning at noon. I know that everyone who attends any of the Lenten Lunches has a most enjoyable time. It is so good to get together with family, neighbors, & friends here in the Golden Triangle as we welcome in a season of newness, freshness, & growth. If you didn’t have an opportunity to attend this year, please make a note & put it on your calendar for NEXT year. You’ll be glad you did. One thing about living here in Big Sky Country, I think we all have a real appreciation for ALL 4 seasons of the year. Me? I wouldn’t have it any other way! See you tomorrow at noon at the 1st Baptist Church for the final Lenten Luncheon of the season. Spring IS truly here…we are expecting a high temperature today (Wednesday) of 50 degrees! Happy Spring!
