The first Thursday in the month that is and the Shelby Merchants will be celebrating the first Thursday of this month and next and perhaps even into the early autumn.  Tomorrow, Thursday, the first Thursday of THIS month, the participating Shelby Merchants will have their stores open until 7 in the evening. This will be great for those who work during the week and can’t make it downtown otherwise.  Besides the stores being open extended hours tomorrow, the Shelby cheerleaders will be doing face painting and serving up cotton candy, the Shelby Elks Club will be roasting  hot dogs, and the Montana Club will be serving ice cream on main street. Forever Fine Jewelry’s in the First Thursday spirit with 25% off their Reflections of Color sterling silver and gemstone jewelry. DJ Mark Daniels will be spinning the tunes during Shelby’s First Thursday celebration tomorrow. It’s all sounds like a grand time to spend time with friends, check out the bargains and fun, and enjoy a perfect summer evening here in north central Montana. It’s all another plus of living in Smalltown U.S.A.
