Tuesday Night At The Heritage

I'll be back up at the Marias Heritage Center this evening, Tuesday, reading more "Montana History" & I can't wait to get back into our current book, "Glacier From the Inside Out". We should be finishing up this great adventure in the next couple of weeks & I'm already hoping that it never ends! The stories in this tome from The Glacier Park Foundation are ALL 1st person accounts covering a century of park history as told by those who know glorious Glacier the best, the Insiders. They tell of coming-of-age experiences in a mountain paradise, of characters past & present, & of lessons learned to last a lifetime. After reading almost 3/4 of this book, if I was 30 years younger, I would "hire on" at the park this coming season for summer employment AND fun! I'm not sure if I would like to be a Red Jammer driver, work in the kitchen, or man the front desk at one of the rustic Glacier hotels. Perhaps I could "rotate" & experience doing all three!  I'm leaning toward driving one of those Jammers up & down Going To The Sun!.Fasten your seat belts!
