Veterans day is one of those holidays that really gets to me. My husband served in Iraq, my dad in Korea, uncles and cousins have served around the world and I couldn't be more proud. Every year, my uncle compiles a picture of all the veterans in our family and every year, it brings a tear to my eye. I'm sure you know someone who has served, take the time today to find them and to thank them. Freedom isn't free. Say a prayer for them and their families because the sacrifice is not the Veterans alone, it's tough to be the ones left behind too.
