We’re Going To Market

Summertime and the living is easy! We have "farmers markets" going on all over the Golden Triangle this week and weekend. Here in Shelby, the Shelby Food & Craft Market kicks off at 4 o'clock this afternoon (Thursday) and goes until 6:30 down at Shelby City Park. Over in Chester this afternoon, the Liberty County Farmers Market will be going strong from 5 to 7 at Chester City Park. This Saturday down in Choteau, it's the Choteau Farmers Market returns at the Choteau Visitors Center from 8:30 to noon. What are some of your favorite fruits and vegetables that you like to pick up when you visit the market(s)? I'd like to hear from you. I guess one of my favorite things are peaches when they are in season. They are so tasty to bite into and it's fun to let the juice run down your face. It's all part of summer here in Big Sky Country.
