Here’s some of the events happening around the area this weekend….

Friday, March 18th....

  • The Montana Veterans Affair rep will be in Browning  from 9 to 11 at the New Eagle Shield Center to answer all your questions and concerns.
  • The Prairie Oasis Animal Shelter in Shelby will hold a chili feed fundraiser at the Shelby Elks Lodge from 5 to 8pm with a dance to follow. come out...have some chili and dance the night away.

Saturday, March 19th

  • Karaoke for Cancer" continues at Ed's Tavern in Conrad, tonight!  Singers register from 8 to 9. If you like to sing....it's your last chance to qualify for finals.
  • The annual Lutefisk and Meatball dinner will be held at the Pondera Valley Lutheran Church in Conrad from 1 to 5pm. Everyone is welcome.
  • The Tri-County Shriners all you can eat crab dinner will tonight with no host cocktails at 6pm and dinner at 7. at the Cut Bank Elks Club.  Tickets available at the Cut Bank Liquor Sore. This is a great cause. Come out and Support the Shriners.
  • There will be a cut-a-thon to raise money for medical expenses for Christy Widhalm Koplus at Salon 315 in Conrad from 10am to 5pm. this is for walk-in's only....so if you're in need a  new style....stop by salon 315.

Sunday, March 20th

  • There will be a Conservation Celebration Breakfast today at the Conrad Moose Lodge with pancake breakfast from 11 to 12:30 followed by NRCS annual report, and guest speaker dusty Jones who has been traveling through New Zealand.
  • Schutz and Flint will perform tonight at 7pm at the East Glacier community hall. Everyone welcome.
  • The 2011 Tri-County Cardinals player sign-up will be at 2:00 today at Ringside Ribs in Shelby. Directors and coaches will be present to answer questions.  For more information call Mike in Choteau @ 466-5185; Chip in Shelby @ 424-2844; or coach Bucklin in Conrad @ 271-2169.
