Being a mother is hard work, but there are just some places where it’s easier than others.

Save the Children has come out with its annual State of the World’s Mothers report, which ranks the best countries to be a mother.

Checking in at number one is Finland, leading a charge of European nations in the top 10.

A total of 176 countries were included in the list, with the Democratic Republic of the Congo bringing up the rear.

The US placed 30th, landing behind countries like Israel, Poland and Slovenia.

Save the Children created the rankings by taking five factors into consideration, including maternal health, children’s well-being, educational status, economic status, and political status.
