I'm really looking forward to my special guest tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 4:35 on the Puffman Show. She's Janette Reynolds from the Flathead Valley. Janette was born and raised in the Motor City (not to be confused with Car Town) and spent the first part of her career entrenched in the competitive world of automotive engineering. Longing for a creative new start, she threw caution to the wind and moved west to a land where a river runs through it and what many, including myself, consider a writer's Mecca-Montana! She's done it all...developed, and produced and hosted a daily interview talk show "Montana Woman." Within 6 months, the show was nominated for an E.B. Craney Award for "Radio Program of the Year" by the Montana Broadcasters Association after snagging interviews with Gloria Steinem, Shaquille O'Neal, Charlton Heston, Debbie Reynolds, Garth Brooks, President Jimmy Carter, Lea Thompson, Dr. Helen Caldicott and many more. I don't think I entered the competition that year! Janette's appeared on CNN, NBC, FOX, TBN, and radio & TV throughout the US and Europe. Now she's coming on the Puffman Show to discuss her new book, "Where Were You On 911" (with a Foreword by Donald J. Trump). I'll be giving away a copy of the book following tomorrow's interview. I think with the anniversary of 911 coming up, this is a very pertinent topic for my afternoon listeners. I also found out that she's a fan of "Mad Men", and what's more important than that! Besides that, she appears to be a "broadcast professional" and it's so seldom that the term "professional" is ever used on OR with the Puffman Show, this should be quite the experience for me. And...where were YOU on 911? Friday at 4:35 on KSEN AM 1150.
