After six games each, Alabama and Oregon have separated themselves as the two best teams in college football, with each squad tearing through its schedule thus far. But which team is the best college football has to offer: the Crimson Tide or the Ducks?

Alabama certainly has the edge as far as intangibles go. Not only do they have championship experience after having won three of the last four national titles, but they also boast arguably the best coach in all of sports, Nick Saban.

The Crimson Tide also field the number one defense in all of college football, which gives offensive weapons such as A.J. McCarron and T.J. Yeldon all of the opportunities they need to make opponents pay. Having already defeated the one team that beat them last season, Texas A&M, Alabama is the odds-on favorite to win it all yet again.

Oregon, though, will not make that an easy task for the Tide. The Ducks, in their first season since former head coach Chip Kelly's departure to the Philadelphia Eagles, are just as impossible to stop as they were before he left.

The Ducks lead the nation in rushing at a staggering 324 yards per game, and are second in the nation in scoring with a 56.8 points per game average that would be hard to achieve even in a video game. Defensively, they are allowing fewer than 14 points per game, a point total that they usually eclipse in the first 10 minutes of a game.
