When two of Country music's biggest stars got married, they decided they would leave the music to someone else so that they could enjoy the day.   Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert chose Neal McCoy to play at their party and it got me thinking; what if I or you could get anyone we wanted to play for our wedding reception who would we choose.  I think I would have to go with Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band.  He could play the classic Old Time Rock & Roll, C'lest vie and many of the classic ballads like Night Moves.  I would really be interested in hearing who you would pick and why.   Take a minute to respond and let me know if you'd be willing to tell us about it on the air or not.

I also wanted to tip my hat to all the people who work to make things happen here in the Golden Triangle.    Like Diane Anderson and countless others who organize and work the day long at the Middle School Track meets in Cut Bank.   Cut Bank is the only place where a track meet could be held this year.

And then there is Bob Richter who organized the High School Rodeo in Shelby this weekend.   And Rick Whitford who provided the Stock . Man, these guys do get paid but they put in non-stop work throughout the weekend and go the extra mile to get it done.   There are also numerous volunteers that make it all happen.

For the first time, the Shelby H.S. Rodeo Committee provided a $250.00 scholarshp, presented by the Whitford Rodeo Company of Cut Bank, to Chelsea Collins of Shelby.   Chelsea was a 2010 State H.S. Rodeo qualifier in Poles and Barrels.   She'll be attending Montana State University this fall to study Animal Science with an emphasis on Equine science.    The Shelby Rodeo Committee plans to give the scholarship out each year at the H.S. event to a Shelby H.S. Senior with an interest in Rodeo.
