A New Broom Sweeps Clean
This Friday, May 25th, is the date for the 6th Annual Community Service Day with our Shelby High School students and staff taking part. This is a great project and commitment to our community with the students cleaning fence lines, painting signs, sweeping Main Street sidewalks and store windows along with cleaning parks and several other fine projects. Let's hear it for these young people getting involved and doing good for our community. They are, indeed, our future leaders. I might suggest that all of us take a look around and do what we can as continue to make Shelby one of the best places in the world to live and work. Me? I'm thinking of cleaning my desk!
