Our state Department of Revenue's fired up an alert & WARNING for Montanans pertaining to a new scam. Theses crammers are sending out FRADULENT text messages "pretending" to be from the department. They are NOT! These messages "claim" to contain a link to your property appraisal notification. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK! The Montana Department of Revenue sends property appraisal notices ONLY through the U.S. Postal Service, NEVER a text or email.
