KSEN/K96 - Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week not only stood out in area sports but are catching attention on the Statewide level. Our female Athlete of the Week was nominated two weeks ago and again this week. Cut Bank Sr. Haylee Fetters is now ranked #2 in the State for Class B/C wrestlers at 235lbs. Haylee dominated her weight class in 4 matches at the All-Girls Invitational in Lewistown.  With the victories, she improved her record to 22-5. Earlier this month, Haylee won the Championship at the competitive Cut Bank Invitational and was named the Tournaments' "Outstanding Wrestler for the 138-235 weight class.  Father and Head Coach Cody Fetters says, "she's really been wrestling well all season."

Our Male Athlete of the Week for the 2nd time this season is Shelby Sr. Kyle McDermott.  In an overtime win against Choteau Friday night, Kyle popped in 38 points including this shot that put the Coyotes in the lead for the 1st time and time running out. Shelby went on to win and McDermott's 38 points, including 8-9 from the free throw line was the 2nd best in the State, behind only the 63 from Tracen Jilot of Box Elder. McDermott came back with 26 points against Chinook Sat. afternoon in a much easier win.  He is shooting, rebounding, turning out the assists and helping Shelby to a lot of victories.

Congratulations to our KSEN/K96-Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week, Sr. Haylee Fetters of Cut Bank and Sr. Kyle McDermott of Shelby.  The Athlete of the Week is sponsored locally by McDonald's in Cut Bank.
