Our KSEN/K96-Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week led the way to team success in the second week of high school sports action.

Male Athlete of the Week honors go to Fairfield So. QB Brock Peace who has led the Eagles to two straight victories with both of those victories, clock-running blowouts by early in the 3rd Quarter. Second Year Head Coach Aaron Barnett said, Peace is young, along with the majority of the rest of his team, but he is performing well, directing the offense and "has a pretty solid arm." In last week's 37-14 win over Whitehall, Peace threw for more than 200 yards and 4 Touchdowns.  He also ran for one Td.   On the defensive side, he plays the outside linebacker-cornerback and Coach Barnett says he's pretty good on coverage.

Female Athlete of the Week honors go to Shelby Sr. Adele Lamb.  The Coyote Volleyball team has had some early season success, first in the Choteau Invitational where they finished 5th. The team, in a lot of matches, had 167 kills and Lamb had 46 of those.  She also had 14 of the teams 55 aces. Things got even better at the Chinook Invitational where Coach Lexy Fisher, quoted in the Shelby Promoter said, "I couldn't have been prouder of their teamwork and perseverance throughout the tournament." They ended the day in 2nd place. Lamb again led the way in kills with 30 of the team's 100 total and she added 24 digs and 4 aces.
