KSEN/K96 – Bozeman Trophy Athlete’s of the Week appear to be primed and ready for this week’s 1B District Track and Field Meet in Great Falls Saturday.

Our Female Athlete of the Week has the third best time in the State among all Class B runners. She has the 4th best time in the 800m and 3200m.

Sophomore Ada Bieler of Choteau has excelled during the season in Volleyball and Basketball and is now making headlines in Track.

In her most recent appearance at the Cascade Top 12 meet, Ada won the 1600, finished 2nd in the 800 and was part of the winning Choteau 1600m relay Team. Her best effort to this point has been in the 3200 with a time of 12:01 which ranks in the top 20 All-Class runners in the State. She has already qualified for all three events at the upcoming State meet.

Our Male Athlete of the Week has previously been honored for his basketball skills, but is now showing up in the winning circle on the Track. Shelby Sr. Logan Leck picked up a win last week at the Top 12 meet in the 800m with an excellent time of 2:10. He also ran on the 1st place Shelby 1600 relay team and on the 400 relay where Shelby finished 6th.

Logan will continue his athletic career at the University of Providence in Great Falls on a Basketball and Track scholarship. He plans to become a registered nurse anesthesist or attemd medical school.
