Kiss kicked off “Rock Week” on ABC’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ on Monday, with a performance so good that even grouchy old Len Goodman couldn’t resist holding up his ’11′ sign. The rockers performed ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ in front of familiar pyrotechnics, but behind choreography never attempted at one of their stadium shows.

Bad Company‘s drummer just got a lot more interesting. Jemina Kirke, daughter of Simon Kirke, was named the Babe of the Day by men’s site GuySpeed.com. While many Babe of the Day photos involve women wearing near nothing, Kirke is covered from head to toe in two of the three photos.

Tickets are already on sale for many of the dates Journey has scheduled to play with Pat Benatar and Loverboy this summer. According to the band’s official website, they’ll play 14 dates across the country, beginning on July 21 in San Bernardino, Calif.

Nazareth‘s version of ‘Love Hurts’ has been picked up by Visa for use in a commercial aimed at NHL hockey fans. The ballad captures the emotion of one pitiful supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who watches his team get eliminated from the playoffs.

One of Rolling Stone magazine’s Top 20 albums of all time will be made into a feature film. The rights to adapt Bob Dylan‘s painful but brilliant ‘Blood on the Tracks’ album into a full-length motion picture were acquired by a Brazilian film production company that plans to make it into an English language movie.

ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons said their next studio album will stay true to the sound they have laying down for over 40 years. The still untitled project may be out this year, as Gibbons tells Billboard. “It’s down to seeds and stems.”

Rush is preparing to release their first album in almost five years, and rumors are circulating that a new single will hit radio on April 19. RushisaBand.com reports that a shortened version of a song called ‘Headlong Flight’ will be available. Furthermore, it seems as if industry insiders got a peek at the new song on Wednesday.

Kiss is looking for a few good men. Or just one good man. Actually it could be a woman too. The rockers — who’ve long been supporters of the men and women in the U.S. military — are looking to hire a veteran to join their road crew when they hit the road with Motley Crue in July.

Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsay Buckingham has announced 15 tour dates across the west coast in support of his new ‘Seeds We Sow’ album. The run of dates will begin on May 3, and will be a one-man show.

The Allman Brothers Band closed a 10-night residency at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday night, and were forced to play parts of two of those shows without frontman and founder Gregg Allman. Allman walked off stage in pain on Saturday night and was taken to a local hospital.
