Cal Wearly Track Meet April 3 at Havre Middle School

Quite a few of our area schools will be attending the Cal Wearly Memorial track , hosted by the North Star Schools at Havre Middle School on April 3. They will get started at 8:30 with field events and 9:00 am with the 3200 to kick things off on the track.

Teams that are scheduled to attend include:  Augusta, Belt, Big Sandy, Box Elder, Cascade, Chinook, Choteau, C-J-I Hi-Line, Cut Bank, Denton, Fairfield, Fort Benton, Glasgow, Great Falls Central, Havre, Hays-Lodgepole, Highwood, Hinsdale, Malta, Moore, Nashua, North Star, Rocky Boy, Roy-Winifred, Simms, Stanford-Geyser, Sunburst, Turner, Valier, Whitewater.

Field Events

8:30 AM            Discus (B), Javelin (G AtoM), Long Jump (G), Pole Vault (B), Shot Put (G NtoZ)

10:00 AM          Javelin (G NtoZ), Long Jump (B), Pole Vault (G), Shot Put (G AtoM)

11:30 PM          Discus (G), Javelin (B AtoM), Triple Jump (G), High Jump (B), Shot Put (B NtoZ)

1:00 PM            Javelin (B NtoZ), Triple Jump (B), High Jump (G), Shot Put (B AtoM)

Qualifying Throws:                     All contestants will have 2  hours from the start of the

event to complete their field events.  After this time

they will be scratched.

We will measure each competitor’s best throw in the Discus,

Javelin, and Shot Put.  We will use minimum distances in the

Long Jump and Triple Jump; however we will measure the

competitor’s last jump if they do not have a qualifier.
