Clemency Poll Yields Interesting Results

KSEN polled our online audience to see if they favored clemency for Ronald Smith. The results were interesting, but not terribly surprising.

Interesting, in the fact that the majority of "Yes" votes, those in favor of clemency were from Canada, the lone US "yes" vote came from California. One of the options in the poll was "Who is Ronald Smith?" and 15% of respondents selected that, none from Montana or Canada.
There hasn't been a recommendation from the Board of Pardons and Parole as of today, but when the hearing concluded in Powell County, the board said they would release their decision during the week of May 21st. We'll bring you that decision on KSEN and K96.
