I attended the Cut Bank High School Band concert last night (my daughter plays the Alto Saxophone), it was wonderful!! Mrs. Blair does a fine job of teaching children, beginning in the 4th grade, to play their instruments wonderfully. If you haven't attended a spring concert - it's worth the time.

Last night was the final concert of the year and Mrs. Blair took the time to honor the seniors in her band. All of them had been band students since 4th grade. It was a touching tribute to the students and their teacher. Three of the bands played different versions of the National Anthem and they were all very good.

Mrs. Blair also received a check from the Cut Bank Education Foundation for $3000 for the purchase of a new baritone saxophone.

The other really interesting thing last night was the Middle School and High School Art Show that is set up in the lobby of the auditorium. I attached a picture of a painting by Amber Nielsen, but there are many wonderful pieces on display. Unfortunately, the art show was over last night, but if you have a photo of any of the art and would like to share it, just email it to me. I'd love to do a gallery of the work that was on display.
