District 1B Tournaments Shelby High School

The district 1B tournament will be held at Shelby High School beginning Thursday, February 18. Brackets will be finalized on Monday and we'll know for sure how the conference has shaken out, but we already have a pretty good idea... Check it out after the jump.

Current standings for the 1B Boys look like this:

Team Conference Wins-Losses

1. Choteau 8-0
2. Cut Bank  8-1
3. Shelby 4-6
4. Fairfield 3-5
5. Conrad 2-6
6. Rocky Boy 1-8

In terms of conference games left on the schedule, Friday Conrad plays Choteau, and Fairfield plays Rocky Boy; Saturday has Choteau and Cut Bank as the only conference game.Basically, that means that Choteau and Cut Bank will have first round byes and will start action on Friday evening. The boys tournament starts Thursday at 2:30pm.

3. Cut Bank 6-3
4. Rocky Boy 4-5
5. Conrad 1-7
6. Shelby 1-9

Conference games left are identical to the boys. Basically, that means that Fairfield and either Choteau or  Cut Bank will have first round byes and will start action on Friday afternoon. The girls tournament gets started on Thursday night at 6pm.
