This Is Right Up Your Alley If…

. . .you live in Conrad. The City of Conrad's Fall Alley Clean Up is scheduled for Monday, October 19th. Don't worry about a thing, items may be placed along either side of your alley beginning on Saturday, the 17th, through 7:30 in the morning on Monday, the 19th. Items placed LATE will NOT be picked up. Large household appliances require a discard permit from the city. Construction and demo materials, toxic and and hazardous materials, branches bigger than 4 inches in diameter and 4 feet long and LARGE appliances without a discard permit will NOT be picked up and should NOT be placed in the alley! Do you want to remove that %$*# couch! For more information and/or to purchase a discard permit, please stop by Conrad City Hall, at 4213 South Main Street, or call 271 3623. There's an old English saying first recorded in John Heywood's 1546 collection of proverbs that applies here in Conrad's alleys, "a new broom sweeps clean."
