The 11th Annual Kite Festival's coming up THIS Saturday. The festive festival opens at 10, this Saturday morning, & the FREE kite making for kids kicks off at 11. In fact, the whole festival's FREE, & will run until 3, Saturday afternoon. The location this year again is 36 City Shop Road. Why not bring along your lawn chairs, blankets & picnic baskets & relive a favorite childhood activity. Vendors, food & music...doesn't get much better than that under our Montana Big Sky. A shoutout & "Tip of Our Towers" to the event sponsors including the Shelby Kiwanis Club, TBID, Core Civic & MRE. Happy- Jack Widmar, will be joining me this Thursday afternoon at 2:30, on the Puff Man Show, to fill us in on this Saturday's events at the 11th Annual Kite Festival. Kites have been around a long time...old Ben Franklin, himself flew a kite or two, & I believe the Wright Brothers, got their start with kites, although I "could" be mistaken. I'll have to ask Jack, about that when he gets here...
