Farming & Poetry
The theme for this year's National Ad Day is, "Agriculture: Food for Life," & those 3 words really say it all. Agriculture is Montana's #1 industry. Montana seems to have it all. I DON'T "think" we have papaya's, & I'm not disappointed. In fact, it took biotechnology to save the Hawaiian papaya industry after a virus nearly wiped the crop out! "Food for Life"...I'd like to conclude my Agriculture Blog with a poem from the late Pamela North of the infamous North Farm out west. Pamela wrote, "Roses are red, Violets are blue, Daisy's are yellow & you can eat those too." "Food for Life." Thank you Agriculture.
