What’s Your Favorite Super Bowl Food? — Survey of the Day
Super Bowl Sunday could also be called heartburn Sunday, since many of the snacks that are traditionally consumed during the big game are less than stomach-friendly.
But they sure are yummy, and a new poll from Harris Interactive has found that dips and spreads are the most popular Super Bowl snacks, snagging 32 percent of the vote. Chicken wings (which of course go great with dip) came in second place, with 23 percent, and salty snacks — such as pretzels — tied pizza for the third place spot with 14 percent.
These results confirm an upward trend for chicken wings, which were at 16 percent when the same survey was taken two years ago, and seem like they may be headed toward eventual Super Bowl supremacy.
