Glacier County Welcomes a New MSU Extension Agent
The Golden Triangle is fortunate to have an active group of Montana State University Extension Service Agents. One of our newest is Lisa Terry, who now shares duties in Glacier County with Kari Lewis. We asked Lisa to share a little bit about herself, and her duties as a County Agent.

"I am excited to return to the MSU Extension family as the FCS/4-H Agent in Glacier County. Previously, I worked in the same capacity in Stillwater County for almost ten years. Most recently, I served as the Family & Consumer Science teacher at Laurel High School. In addition, I was privileged to work as an instructor with the National Restaurant Association's ProStart Culinary Arts Program for high school students.
I am originally from Arkansas and earned my BSE degree in Family Consumer Science at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. I obtained my master's degree at Montana State University in Billings in Interdisciplinary Studies/Curriculum & Instruction. I will be teaching classes throughout Glacier County in all areas related to Family Consumer Science such as home canning and preservation, nutrition and health, mental health, diabetes education, arthritis classes, and much more. You'll have a chance to meet Lisa in person next Wednesday, August 24th, at the Cut Bank Farmers Market. She will be available to calibrate the gauge and check the seals on your pressure canners, free of charge.
You'll also be hearing Lisa on KSEN and K96 every other Wednesday at 12:50pm on the Extension Minute. This series is an opportunity for our county agents to share important research and program information with listeners across the Golden Triangle.
