I typed the headline to my blog in "lower case" because my ears are hurting from funnyman Pat Cooper screaming at me yesterday afternoon on the radio. Talk about "TIGHT JAWS'...I mean "tight jaws".

I'll be raising my own voice later this evening because I'll be reading Montana history at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. We just started a new book last Tuesday and I'm really enjoying it and hopefully the residents at the Heritage Center who attend my reading are also finding it a nice story. The book is "How It Looks Going Back" and it is all about "Growing Up in the Montana Woods". It Doris Knowles Pulis's story of a young girl growing up in the remote and beautiful Yaak River country of Montana. There are some great fishing tales thus far and it makes me more than anxious to commence my "Ol' Fishing Hole" this spring on the radio station. Cooking and heating with wood, hunting and fishing for food, hauling water, washing clothes by hand...it's all part of this adventure...YIKES, we in the Yaak. Smell them pines!
