What Makes A Montana Town Poor?

Road Snacks claims to use "Saturday Night Science" to compile their lists, but what does that exactly mean?

What Are The 10 Poorest Cities In Montana?

To determine the 10 poorest cities in Montana, RoadSnacks looked at the poverty rate of each city and the median income of its residents.

Luckily, there are no cities in Montana that have a median income below the federal poverty level, which is $31,000.

Another thing to note is that they only considered towns with a population of over 2,000 for their list, so in reality, there could be even poorer towns in Montana than the ones you'll find in the gallery below. 👇
