Planned Parenthood Is Opening Its Fifth Montana Location

Planned Parenthood is expanding in Montana, and the reason isn't just about abortion.

The organization, which has locations in Missoula, Great Falls, Billings, and Helena, has selected Bozeman as its fifth location in Montana, and the renovations have already started.

What Services Will Planned Parenthood Offer at Its New Bozeman Location?

Martha Fuller, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Montana, said Bozeman was chosen because about 1,400 people from Gallatin County already travel to other Planned Parenthood locations each year to get care.

When the new Bozeman center opens, which is expected to happen in the summer of 2027, those patients will have a location much closer to home.

They'll be offering a wide range of services, including birth control, STI testing and treatment, medication abortion, procedural abortion, gender-affirming care, and some primary care.

But Planned Parenthood isn't just a place for women to go to take care of their health.

New Bozeman Center Will Be Built Near Montana State University

Plenty of men use Planned Parenthood for things like STI testing and treatment, sexual health services, and other reproductive health care, including free condoms.

LGBTQ+ patients also use Planned Parenthood for services such as STI screenings, HRT medications and prescriptions, and help finding appropriate health care professionals in their community. The organization is also generally known for providing nonjudgmental care.

The new center is being renovated near Montana State University, along a bus route and about 20 minutes from the airport, although the exact location hasn't been publicly announced by the organization yet.

The project has already raised $1.5 million of the expected $2 million construction cost.
