12 Montana Kids Have Gone Missing Since The Start of August

The voices in our community matter and recently, a coworker shared a post with me that caught my attention. The post read:

"Hey Great Falls! In the past 18 days, 8 kids have been reported missing from our small town!!!!!" the post read, "I’ve heard almost nothing about this, nothing on the news, nothing on the radio, no press releases, only a post on social media got my attention yesterday."

"Be Aware. Our teens and tweens are disappearing!"

I went over to the site for the Montana Department of Justice to see if this post had any truth to it (you never know with social media these days!) and sure enough, I found a full list of missing children with several reported missing in the last few weeks.

It's every parent's nightmare and I can't begin to imagine what they're experiencing. I myself am a parent to three children and can't even begin to think about not knowing where my child is.

One has to wonder though - is there any connection to the aburpt disappearance of these children?

According to the Montana Department of Justice, twelve children have gone missing since the beginning of the month. What in the world is happening?

According to the Montana Department of Justice, twenty-eight of the kids below have been missing for less than a year and four of the kids listed below have been missing for more than a year.
