Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

In a few hours, my husband and I will be joining our daughters in New York City to enjoy the Thanksgiving festivities. My sister and her family are traveling along with us, so the actual Thanksgiving will be mostly what it usually is, only without our mom. (We'll miss you mom!)

We will fly into Queens late tonight and try to manage the trip to our brownstone which is "10 minutes from LaGuardia". I'll let you know how that works out. I'm sure it will be an interesting seven days and I'll try to publish something each day, so you can travel along with us.

Tomorrow will be a busy day with a trip in to Manhattan to watch a dress rehearsal of the parade performance by the Spirit of America Cheerleaders in the grand ballroom at the Hilton, then over to the American Natural History Museum to watch some balloon inflation. Not sure what else is on the agenda, but I'm sure it will be an action-packed day. Stay tuned right here for updates, photos, and maybe even a little video on the trip!
