May Is Mental Health Month

Mental health is something we should ALL care about. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a real impact on the mental heath of people of ALL ages. Now, more than ever, it is CRITICAL to reduce the stigma around mental health issues & struggles, because that "stigma" often prevents individuals from seeking help. The Liberty County Mental health Advisory board will meet at noon TODAY (Monday) over at Spud's Cafe in Chester. Let's make the month of May a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues & help reduce this stigma so many experience here in our Golden Triangle.
