I'll be reading, sharing & attempting to pronounce "most" of the words correctly this evening (Tuesday) up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. We're currently reading the true saga of a 1943 Montana coal mine disaster. Our featured book is, "Goodbye Wifes & Daughters." That said, I realize there's no such word as "wifes," as the proper/correct word IS "wives." Here's the rest of the story..."Goodbye wifes and daughters" was written in a note by one of the deceased miners minutes before THE END!. To say this book is "graphic" is an understatement. See you tonight at 6 o'clock for more Montana History at the Heritage.
