Our Heritage Center & Montana History

I'll be stopping by the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby this evening (Tuesday) to read & share more Montana History. (I also like to pick up a piece of gossip or two when I'm there,) We'l bel continuing on with our current "armchair traveling" historical adventure this evening with "Goodbye Wifes and Daughters," Susan Kushner Resnick's tome on the February 27, 1943 Bearcreek, Montana coal mine explosion/fire/disaster. 75 of the 78 men on duty that fateful day were killed in this UNSAFE Montana coal mine.
