Operations would like to inform travelers the Port of Whitlash was not able to open on November 14, 2020, due to blizzard conditions causing the roads leading to the port to be impassable. CBP advises travelers to telephone the Port of Whitlash at 406-432-5522 prior to traveling to the port, to ensure it is open, and to check Montana weather and road conditions on the Montana Department of Transportation’s website at www.mdt.mt.gov. The Port of Whitlash is located on Whitlash Road, across from the Canadian port of Aden, Alberta, about 35 miles east of the Port of Sweetgrass, Montana. CBP apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the port.
